Tell us a bit about yourself

Reliable, with a good internet connection and aspire to mythic WoD raiding. I have a good history on OpenRaid. I love raiding with my wife (Sorrel) and am currently raiding four nights a week. I started raiding late this expansion since I wanted to go ahead and level my 5 alts to 100 before the raiding season really took off. Now I'm catching up fast and am seeking a group.

Do you keep an up-to-date Off-spec, and are you willing to play it if/when required?

Gladiator, I can play it when required, but I really love tanking.

Your Raiding History

Started WoW in the US 2 months before BC. My wife and I ran a social guild Catch N Release on US-Korialstraz (still alive) for many years but left them to start raiding.

We took the guild through Karazhan but they weren't really raiders. When Wotlk came out I got real serious, spent 8 hours straight in 25 man Naxx once. We almost cleared Ulduar (some on heroic) on our server before ToC dropped, but ToC created guild drama. At the end of LK we joined Casually Serious a semi-professional guild but they had too much churn and weren't very nice people. The guild lead left with his buddies to start another company (think Tankspot) but it bombed.

Sorrel and I prepped for Cata on US-Sargeras early but just were burnt by the last group so much that we decided to give WoW a long term break. We restarted in the US after SoO came out. We didn't do anything serious in MoP, what we did do though is move to the EU realms after the boost came out in search of better raid times. Raid times, was always our limiting factor when playing WoW. We started WoW when we lived in New Zealand and US realms worked well for us then. When we moved to Germany raid times become a mess. We used to get up at 2am and played to 5am.

What are you looking for in a guild?

Responsible friendly people that prioritize raiding, I am not searching for a social guild although I enjoy making friends in WoW.

I do not expect any help from my guild, I show up on time at the stone fully equipped and I expect the same from everyone else. Things like guild bank, etc.... doesn't interest me and both Sorrel and I have every profession so we can supply plenty of our own mats.

My guild should have a raid lead that ensures we pull on time and takes care of recruiting. I expect planned raiding, I will dedicate myself to a schedule but don't appreciate staying around longer than listed on the calendar.

I will not tolerate drama and I do not care about loot. Loot drops anyhow when you play enough. I appreciate players that have the same thoughts.

Are you able to attend our raid days/times?

I am around 19:00-24:00 everyday of the week.

Do you have a Mic and Mumble?

Of course, Ventrilo and Teamspeak as well. I also record videos and raid logs.

Which has a higher mass?

The Sun

Any additional information?

US accounts:

I was a mage in BC, disc in Wotlk, started prot at the beginning of Cata. I have raided in all those roles. I've always preferred 25 man instead of 10 man.

Hello my friend :D im gonna tell to our officers about your app :D Good luck
Jeez, you and Sorrel have literally been 'lovers around the world'. Also, it would be nice to have you both in the guild (despite the melee situation), the Officer crew will discuss your apps tonight. Good luck.
Yeah, you play DPS and you become short on healers, go heals ... oops no tanks, play a tank.... too much melee. It's always the same sad story.
Joda has explained why we have declined.
